On April 12, 2001, at Shanghai Stock Exchange, Chairman Ling Ke rang the gong for the listing of Gemdale Corporation. At this moment, Gemdale officially entered the capital market and started a new and ambitious journey. Therefore, April 12th was defined as the anniversary of Gemdale. On the other hand, in order to pay tribute to the anniversary and take a step towards the future, and to show the spirit of Gemdale people who are brave to go forward despite the hardships, the anniversary hiking will be held every year on the nearest weekend to April 12. On April 10, 2021, “New Long March, Start Again” - Gemdale Corporation's 2021 Anniversary Hiking was held simultaneously across China in a grand manner.

On April 12, 2021, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the listing of Gemdale Corporation. The 20th anniversary of listing is a milestone for the Corporation and a new starting point for our Gemdale people. The spirit of New Long March advocated by the theme of this celebration aims to require us to attain the development goals of the Corporation in the new era with full entrepreneurial passion, and to develop the company into a “provider of comprehensive urban service” and a “developer of new urban areas of industry-city integration”. 

On April 10, the willow trees sprouted, peach blossoms bloomed and spring was everywhere! All the employees of WINS Old-City Renovation actively participated in this anniversary hiking with full enthusiasm. The management team of WINS Old-City Renovation led all the staffs to step forward with passion in Beijing (including Wuhan), Shenzhen, Shanghai and Nanjing respectively at the same time.

In the main venue of Beijing, the staff from Beijing and Wuhan came together to Qinglong Lake Forest Park in Fangshan District, Beijing. In order to welcome the 20th anniversary of the listing of Gemdale Corporation, a special “20 km hiking challenge to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the listing of Gemdale” was set up for this hiking, and colleagues competed to sign up and become bold and aggressive Gemdale people. In the end, 4 colleagues successfully obtained the qualification and completed the challenge perfectly! Let's applaud them for their courageous spirit and remember their names - Jin Youcheng, Li Nan, Wang Ke and the only female challenger, Chen Dan!

In the whole process of hiking, four passes were set up, and all the staffs were divided into four teams of “Diligence, Sincerity, Courage and Creativity”, and the colleagues worked together in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. In the last pass, colleagues needed to answer 10 questions correctly centering around the core values of Gemdale Corporation “Diligence, Sincerity, Courage and Creativity” so as to successfully cross the pass and reach the finish line, which made everyone understand Gemdale culture more deeply, love Gemdale culture and carry it forward on this special day!

In Shenzhen, team members of WINS Old-City Renovation Shenzhen went to Shenzhen Luohu Stadium and marched together with their colleagues from the Corporation, explaining to everyone the indomitable and steady spirit of Gemdale WINS with their actions. The Shanghai team chose to walk along the Huangpu River in Shanghai with the significance of urban transformation and innovation, signifying that Gemdale Corporation and WINS Old-City Renovation will take solid steps in the field of urban construction and financial innovation. Colleagues from the Asset Management team went to picturesque Ziqing Lake in Tangshan, Nanjing. They were united as one and encouraged each other, fully reflecting the Gemdale culture of synergy, boldness, aggressiveness, and self-surpassing.

In the past 20 years since the listing of Gemdale Corporation, the strategy of “one body and two wings” has played a pivotal role.
